Irony From Religious Bullies

Bigotry cloaked in religion is still bigotry.

45 on the lawn at the White House today signing a religious discrimination bill. “National day of prayer. We like that, don’t we?”

No. We don’t like a national day of prayer. Keep your religious bullshit to yourself. You’re at work, 45; act like it.

If you need a legal reason why, and I should not have to explain this to the President of the United States:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”  – First Amendment to Constitution of United States of America 1789 (rev. 1992)
And if you need a religious reason why, as I know your Bible is foreign to you, 45 (reading is hard):
“5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” – Matthew 6:5-6
You bullies are going to want to step down your pride. And your discrimination. And your lies. Your hypocrisy is showing.
“Faith is deeply embedded into the history of our country, the spirit of our founding and the soul of our nation,” Trump said in the Rose Garden at a National Day of Prayer event with religious leaders and White House staff. “We will not allow people of faith to be targeted, bullied or silenced anymore.” – via NBC News

The immigrants, women, Muslims, LGBT, disabled, etc. of this country know better. The law is on our side. Who’s doing the bullying? How’s that wall coming along, Bully-In-Chief?
